I didn't begin running track...

until my junior year of high school. Crazy thing is, I started running to become faster for my football career, not knowing that track would become an open door to a whole new world. By the end of my junior year going into my senior year of high school, I had fallen in love with the sport of track. I had fell in love so much so that I had began pursuing a track career over all of my accomplishment and positions in football that I had worked so hard to earn. During my senior track season I had broken and set the schools record in the 300m hurdle race and made a name for myself as I landed a spot in the newspaper twice. As my season had came to an end with no sight of a scholarship, my mom had found someone who was willing to train me unexpectedly. Coach Rob took me under his wing and my very first season training with him, I had qualified for the junior Olympics in the 400m hurdles. Even to this day, it blows my mind that a coach like Rob would have taken and transformed my life so much! Because of him and all that he does for this program, athletes, and families, I don't think it could ever be possible to repay him. To see where we first started with is program up to how we've taken over North Alabama is unbelievable!
